Professor Dan Segal awarded the Polya Prize
Professor Dan Segal, a Fellow of All Souls College, has been awarded the Polya Prize of the London Mathematical Society for his major contributions to group theory. This high prize is awarded in memory of Professor G. Pólya 'in recognition of outstanding creativity in, imaginative exposition of, or distinguished contribution to, mathematics within the United Kingdom'.
