All Souls has been the home of a number of distinguished scientists in the past, including Sir Christopher Wren (an astronomer and a founder of the Royal Society, as well as being a famous architect), E B Ford (ecological genetics), Denis Sciama (cosmology), and Richard Dalitz (particle theory). Four of our current scientists are Senior Research Fellows, two in physics and two in life sciences, and one is a Postdoctoral Fellow in physics. There are also two university posts in natural science attached to the College, in paediatrics and in astrophysics.
